Hello, I am Abraham Kakooza Jerry.

A United States based Software developer with over 4 years of professional experience at the intersection of technology and Telecommunications Engineering. I built a sales forecasting model for local Ugandan pharmacies on a daily basis as my final year thesis. My expertise includes LSTM recurrent neural networks, statistical machine learning models, python and JavaScript programming languages.

In my previous role, I engineered IT infrastructural systems for the largest bank in Africa - Standard Bank Group under the Stanbic Bank Uganda member. My 2 year tenure yielded improved Server provisioning and handover time from 2 days to 5 minutes using IaC tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible in all cloud and on premises platforms.

I have also had considerable contributions to the NLP world where I build custom text to speech and speech to text models for my home origin local language (Luganda). With the buzz around Generative AI, all these can only be brought to light with someone who has a 360 understanding of all technological fields and how things interconnect and scale.
